Balustrade Systems

Adding a balustrade system to your project is an inexpensive way to recreate the timeless elegance of historical design. The Chemcrest balustrade program is a comprehensive, easy to specify, and easy to install system of balusters, rails, newel posts and accessories. The ever growing lineup of products are design engineered to meet all code demands in most instances. The easy-to-use charts provided in this catalogue ensure that you get the correct product you require for a precision fitting system. Our balustrade components utilize heavy duty uP.V.C. and steel reinforcing in order to meet our strict quality standards and provide you with a solid, safe, structurally sound balustrade system.

Ceiling Elements

Chemcrest's decorative ceiling elements include rings, rosettes, medallions and now our new surface mounted ceiling domes. Made from high density polyurethane, Chemcrest's rosettes and medallions are light-weight and easy to handle and install. Crown a dining room or foyer with a highly detailed Chemcrest medallion.Or, adorn a ceiling or fireplace surround with a well placed rosette. Chemcrest's new fiberglass domes ensure a grand statement with or without a lighting fixture.

Consider adding a matching crown mould to further enhance your room decor. Suggestions for matching mouldings with medallions are provided on select medallion styles - or reference Chemcrest's extensive Mouldings Section. Every medallion is manufactured with the most pronounced definition in the industry, due to the height obtainable through the use of rubber moulds.

Columns & Porch Posts

Styles come and go, but columns have stayed in fashion for over 3000 years. The only changes in columns over the past number of years have been the types of material they have been made from. Today, the best columns are made from Chemcrest's high-density polyurethane material. Our porch post styles are structural and our columns easily conceal existing unsightly support posts or pipes already in place. In every case, Chemcrest's polyurethane columns and porch posts are more durable than wood and do not require the continuous maintenance or rot repair that wood products demand.

Chemcrest's polyurethane columns come in four distinct styles: smooth or fluted, in straight, tapered or boxed. Use one of Chemcrest's columns to transform your living/dining room or further detail your patio or porch.Add a scamozzi crown or capital to further enhance the look. Our plant stands have the same column look to them. Add a decorative cap and base to beautify a corner or hold a treasured memento such as a picture or vase. Easy to paint, lightweight and fun to decorate, wherever you choose to place them, they are sure to make a visual statement in your room.

Decorative Millwork

Enhancing one's home is synonymous with enjoying one's surroundings. Chemcrest offers a number of decorative accents to add to your home's decor. Decorative accents may be purely decorative or highly functional - it is entirely up to your imagination. Polyurethane products are easy to work with and are cut and installed much like wood products.They can also be painted with either a quality latex or an oil based paint following the directions on the container - or polyurethane products can be faux finished for an entirely unique look that is all your own. Use Chemcrest's decorative accents as suggested or dream up something entirely new. Entrance & Window Systems

For new construction or remodeling, Chemcrest's architectural products provide the finishing touch. Use Chemcrest's Creator Door Surround to dress up any doorway or entrance, and create a unique elegant look to your project.

Choose from hundreds of combinations of crossheads, pediments, sunbursts, and pilasters to accentuate your windows and doors. Pediment styles include Acorn Pediments, Peaked Pediments, Horizon Pediments, and Ramshead Pediments, where window accents include standard arches, eyebrow arches, sunbursts, and any crosshead or pediment style. Adorn your openings with the addition of dentils, keystones, or bottom trim to our standard crossheads.

Mouldings

Chemcrest offers hundreds of moulding profiles for either interior or exterior use.The intricate detail of the pattern and the crisp clean lines are what sets Chemcrest mouldings apart from the rest. Chemcrest produces the highest density products in the industry. Chemcrest mouldings are available in ANY of our materials including High Density Polyurethane, Flex Urethane, F.R.P., G.R.G., and G.F.R.C. Some profiles are also available in our pre-coated EPS material. In order to match patterns, some mouldings may require end trimming up to 6". Please factor in extra material for your project and consult our installation instructions for more details. Most mouldings are a standard 12' length to minimize joints, waste and installation time. To install, use a pre-approved polyurethane based adhesive together with mechanical fasteners. Chemcrest offers factory moulded inside and outside corners for a number of profiles.

For an additional charge, Chemcrest H.D.P. can achieve a Class 1A fire rating. Our woodgrain profiles, when stained, replicate the beauty of natural wood without the normal rotting and cracking associated with wood. Chemcrest polyurethane mouldings are lightweight and far easier to install than traditional plaster and cast products of yesterday. A factory applied primer is standard on all products, however on site finishing is required.
